How to get there
Das Achental Resort – How to get there
The Achental valley lies on the outskirts of the charming village of Grassau in the Chiemgau region – an ideal base for sporting activities, excursions and cultural experiences.
Travelling by car
From Munich:
- Take the A8 Munich–Salzburg to junction 106, Bernau am Chiemsee.
- Continue on the B305 towards Grassau.
- At the roundabout in Grassau, take the 3rd exit (Bahnhofstraße towards Reit im Winkl)
- After approx. 900 m, turn left into Mietenkamer Straße – our resort is on the left-hand side, number 65.
From Salzburg:
- Take the A8 Salzburg–Munich to junction 108, Übersee/Grassau.
- Continue on the B307 towards Übersee, via Mietenkam to Grassau.
- The resort is located at Mietenkamer Straße 65.
Travelling from Munich Airport:
By public transport:
- Take the S-Bahn from Munich Airport to Munich Ostbahnhof or Hauptbahnhof.
- Continue by train on the Munich–Salzburg line to Übersee station.
- From there, take a taxi or bus (approx. 10 minutes) to the resort.

Pure Arrival.
Your room will be ready from 3.00 pm. If you arrive earlier, we’ll be happy to look after your luggage, allowing you to leave the stresses of everyday life behind as you take your first stroll through the spacious grounds or visit the spa.
Please drive straight to the hotel entrance on arrival. We’ll welcome you with a glass of Crémant or a refreshing non-alcoholic drink and help you unload your luggage. We’ll happily park your car for you in one of our free parking spaces. Of course, we have plenty of electric charging points.
