Throughout the golf season, the PGA Premium Golf School at Das Achental Resort offers training for children and young people in two ability groups: basic training and advanced training. The courses take place on a weekly basis and are tailored to each participant’s individual ability level. The organisation and supervision fee is €199 per person for the entire season. Participation is subject to membership at the Das Achental resort.
In addition to the weekly training, our qualified PGA coaches organise varied holiday golf camps. These intensive weekly courses focus on child-friendly training sessions, learning through play and plenty of fun – ideal for fostering technique and a love of golf from an early age.
The beginners’ course focuses on the first steps in golf. Through play and with plenty of fun, children and beginners are gently introduced to technique, movement sequences and how to handle the club. The aim is to help them develop a confident feel for the game of golf whilst at the same time fostering a love of the game and physical activity. Alongside simple swing and coordination exercises, the children also learn the most important basic rules and etiquette on the course – always in a motivating and age-appropriate training environment.
In the advanced training programme, the focus is on the targeted development of playing and technical skills. Building on the basics, swing technique, game strategy and on-course experience are further developed and refined. In addition, children and young people are gradually introduced to regular match play and their first tournament experiences. The aim is to build confidence on the course, strengthen their independence in their game and further develop their enjoyment of competitive golf.
