ACTIVE HOTEL AWARD 2022
The Achental in Grassau on Lake Chiemsee (Germany) won the Golf award category. The PGA Premium Golf School and Academy, a performance studio for swing analysis, a fitting centre for clubs, a partially heated driving range and the hotel's own 18-hole golf course, idyllically situated between the Bavarian mountains and Lake Chiemsee, are directly adjacent to the hotel grounds. This is a masterpiece of the renowned golf course architect Thomas Himmel. The course was also awarded the "Leading Golf Clubs of Germany" seal of quality as a 5-star superior golf course by the German Golf Association.
